Hi, I'm an IT Tech (it says on my door) in a Secondary School in the South East of England. Been here for nearly 2 years, prior to that, 20 years in Local Government IT. In the teeth of COVID-19 I'm taking the opportunity to roll up 350 PCs from Win7 to Win 10 Eduction 1903 (or 1909) using MDT. Got the build spot on where I want it to be, but my weak area is Group Policy. Looking for inspiration and enlightenment!!

Welcome Steve, there are plenty of members well versed in Group Policy, so just start a thread and ask. In the mean time, you may like to read this tutorial...

Set Default Start Layout for Users in Windows 10

...or search the tutorials section for 'group policy'.

Hi Steve, welcome to Ten Forums. Check out our tutorials section. If you search for group policy it pulls up quite a lot of entries.

Hi everyone. I am new to the forum but not new to Windows, I cut my teeth on Windows 3.1 back in 1992. That does not mean I know everything, obviously I would not be writing on this forum if I did. Currently using Windows10 but have a problem.
Disk Management will not run - I get a message "An Administrator has block access...etc".
So far have tried a number of Internet suggested solutions: Disable Smart Screen - no good. Ran SFC and DISM thinking may have corrupt system files - no good. Did a repair install but problem does not go away. Can anyone suggest something obvious or something I may have missed? Thank you
