Start producing training videos for YouTube using Windows

    Hello all,

Owing to the existing bothering situation due to the virus, I need to start creating videos for educational purposes, resembling the ones uploaded on YouTube and look cool in terms of visual effects. I have been working on computer skills for a long time but have never worked on programs to build visual effects or pop up texts when the speaker is saying them. I created a video using MS PowerPoint and it seems fine but compared to those popular technical videos on YouTube, for instance, it's novice.
On the other hand, I don't have enough time to master apps like Photoshop or Autodesk or other big ones to create professional videos nor do I have that objective.
I just want to using a rather simple tool but better than MS PowerPoint or together with that, create better videos.
For example, when I'm explaining a topic and saying keywords, those keywords turn up from any side of the screen and disappear after few instants. This is one example. Things like that can help me make better videos for now until I will get more spare time to dedicate it for learning relevant prominent programs (when needed).

    Thanks so much beforehand.

You have several options. Best free video editing programs I have used:

Both are excellent but have quite steap learning curve.

Best paid for editors I know:

ACDSee is at the moment offering the full Video Studio for free, offer ends in one week, April 15th (thanks @Bill for the tip!). It is quite easy to learn.

I have used PowerDirector to make almost all of my 100+ Windows videos on my Youtube channel YouTube.com/KariTheFinn. I am in no way a professional video maker, but have close to 1.5 million views, feedback being mostly positive.

PowerDirector has a bit steap learning curve, but when you master it, it really is an incredible tool.

I use camtasia to make vídeo tuturials on youtube. It's a screen capturing and vídeo editing tool. It is paid but I guess you can test it for 15 days or so.

Here is another possibility as a tool that you may wish to explore--

    Open Broadcaster Software | OBS

The Open Broadcaster Software can be used for both video recording and live streaming.

Thank you all dear nice guys. I started using Camtasia. It looks rather simpler. Afterwards when I gain more experience, I will check out the other advanced ones suggested here. :)

I strongly recommend, that even if you leave learning it to later, more suitable time, download and install the ACDSee Video Studio now. Their free offer ends in four days, April 15th. After that, you must pay for it.

Download link in my earlier post.

Another Camtasia user here, I can vouch for it!

But, don't pass up the ACDSee @Kari mentioned! Quite good for free!

    Thank you.
As for Camtasia, I know some primary features of it and the output videos thus are good. But do you know of any cool tips to make the video better? Any good tut/video for this case?
