    renaming file from (1) to -0001


    Hi, I'm Manuel. I need some help with renaming a lot of files. My files are numbered "-0001" but when I rename in bulk Windows changes the "-0001" to "(1)". Is there a setting in Windows where I can change that? I need them to be "-0001, 0002. etc." I searched the internet today but didn't find any solution. Maybe I can't express myself correctly or don't search correctly.

    No, I don't have scripting knowledge. But if it's not too hard I can learn. Do I need python?

    I found a software that does exactly that, it is called "Advanced Renamer". :)
