I messed up folder ownership off Appdata

Do you have a backup you can restore back to?

Or a recent restore point you could use?

Run JunctionBox to restore permissions.

I've accidentally replaced my User folder with my Pictures folder

Use Win10DefaultJunctions.ntj file as shown in the screenshot.

To further explain - it uses SetAcl.exe to restore permissions.

@Callender I dont think it's the permissions that are the problem, I already ran a script to reset those. It's the ownership. I'll try to include a screenshot.

You don't need any control panel or PC function to know if you have a system backup that can be used. You would just know, because you did it. You can access the Restore Points by WIN+S, type Restore Point. app is at the top.

Quick googled the ownershop vs permitions: I dont seem to be able to embed the foto in the post directly:
the uppermostrectangles is what I changed.
