Taskbar locks itself - every stinking day!

    Windows 10 OS Build 18362.720

Everyday, without fail, my Taskbar locks itself. I right click on the taskbar and see that "Lock the taskbar" is UNchecked. I go into "Taskbar settings" and they are as in the attachment.

The only way to get it to auto-hide is to restart the PC. Every day. At least once.

What can I do to stop this?

    Thank you.

    Hey mate,

I'm not sure how to stop it since this may be a bug, but if you like, you could use the Restart Explorer context menu added by the tutorial below to see if restarting the explorer process now when this happens may get it working again without having to restart the computer.

It may at least save some time for now if it works.

I would wonder if Lock the taskbar [first in list] has to be On before the next 2 choices are effective.
It didn't make any difference on my system. The taskbar was still able to auto-hide with lock taskbar on/off.
