Power Savings not working as expected (not shutting down correctly)

    Hello, I'm running 64bit v1909.
My power savings features are not working as expected. When left unattended for a while, my PC shuts down. I'm not exactly sure how long it takes before the PC shuts down, I think at least an hour. When I reboot it, it takes about 45 seconds to boot. It's doing a full reboot. When I open chrome after this boot, it gives me a message saying that it didn't shut down correctly and asks if I want to restore my tabs. Any programs that were running before the shutdown are now closed.

I'm using the stock "balanced power" setting.
    - screen off in 10 min
    - sleep after 30 min
    - hard disk off after 20 min
    - Wireless Adapter Settings: maximum performance (I have/use WiFi on my motherboard)
    - Sleep: allow hybrid sleep is ON
    - Hibernate is set to NEVER
    - Wake timers are Enabled

Hi scmish Welcome to TenForums @shmish

Could you provide a little background.

    When did this start?

What changes were made around this time?

Have you checked Device Manager, any adapters reporting issues (yellow triangles)

Does Reliability History show anything concerning? Click Start, type Reliability History, should be at top of list.

If you right click start, then either Command Prompt(admin) or Powershell(admin) type

    powercfg -a

Should report on sleep states available and might list reasons it can't. Think I would also shut off hybrid sleep given you have hibernate at Never.

This is a new PC build but I didn't notice any shutdown problems until a week ago.

    See below under Reliability

    No yellow triangles

The Windows Shutdown starting happening on the 19th. On the 18th there was a windows update installed. On the 19th I installed some software to work with my GPS watch and cycling computer.

powercfg -a Should report on sleep states available
powercfg -a reports that Standby (S3), Hibernate, Hybrid Sleep and Fast Startup are available on my system. Standby (S1) (S2) and (S0 Low Power Idle) are not available because my system firmware does not support them.

I would also shut off hybrid sleep
    I will try this

Windows Errors from Reliability Check. Each time my computer shuts down, there are three reliability issues recorded:
    1. Windows was not properly shut down
    2. Windows stopped working - "The computer has rebooted from a bugcheck. The bugcheck was: 0x0000009f (0x0000000000000003, 0xffffc088d4aecdc0, 0xffffab0eb88618b0, 0xffffc088d6f867b0). A dump was saved in: C:\Windows\MEMORY.DMP. Report Id: c3d7d4ba-1d3f-4e97-ac6e-9370af53f993."
    3. Windows shut down unexpectedly, see image below

My chance do you image your system and can you fall back before the 18th?

I would uninstall everything and test.

Failing that you should post in the BSOD section, your are getting BSOD's.

That reliability history is really bad.
