    KB4541335 causes gibberish system output

    I'm running Windows 10 Version 1909 (OS build 18363.752)

Installation of KB4541335 causes system output to be gibberish.

For example, "recycle bin" becomes "oonmm0000".

I wanted to remove KB4541335 but the listing of installed updates was unreadable.

In my system it appears that the default language pack (English (US)) was trashed.

I was able to resolve the issue by making English(Canadian) the default language pack.

I am undecided about removing KB4541335 because there are some fixes that are useful to me

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Hi. Welcome to the TenForums @skilledbachelor

Not sure what it is fixing for you so hard to answer should you keep.

Myself, if it is not something I absolutely needed I would remove.

Once removed I would check overall health of OS. Up to step 4 in this tutorial just to see what is being reported.

Use DISM to Repair Windows 10 Image

If all clean I would also create an Image.

This was an optional patch and received by those "Seekers". I assume your issue will sent back to MS and will be resolved for next month's patch Tuesday. Might also log issue in Feedback hub.

Let's see what other think and it is just an opinion.
