Quick change for mouse scroll options

Does anyone know how to quickly configure your mouse to scroll from 1 line to 3 at a time?

I already know how to do it through the mouse control panel but I'd like a faster (lazier) method than fishing through menus and control panels

I suppose I could find out what registry key configures that and write a .reg file but being retired I'd really rather not

My reason is scrolling 3 lines is best for web browsers but gaming is best with 1 line scrolling

X-Mouse Button Control Is quick and slick! I made a little video to show how quick it is to change your scroll set.

    Hello Frank,

The registry location for this setting is below from step 5 in option 3 of the tutorial below.

Change Mouse Scroll Speed in Windows 10

    HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Control Panel\Desktop

WheelScrollLines string value (1 to 100)

You caught my interest. I check my reg and I don't have that entry?

Besides the OP didn't wont to go in that direction anyway.

Thanks . I don't even need to poke through the registry now

I'll just write one .reg file to set the scroll lines=1 and a second scroll lines=3

Now, to refresh my noggin on how to write a .reg file.... It's been a while

    No worries. Here you go:

    Scroll_lines-1.reg

    Scroll_lines-3.reg
