    Okay.

    Since safe mode also prevents the staring of a lot of software you might try the Clean boot process to identify third party apps that could be causing issue.


    Perform a Clean Boot in Windows 10 to Troubleshoot Software Conflicts


    This is s clean boot, not clean install.

    I feel like I'm not doing something right because with everything disabled after following the clean boot, the issue is still around. I've tripled checked and followed the instruction each time. The issue is still around.

    I wouldn't say that at all.

    In safe mode you are using the basic driver and no third party software.

    Basic driver works.

    In clean boot you are using the real driver and no third party software. Issue persists so I would say it is not third party software causing issue.

    It now appears to be either the driver / windows.


    You said you might reload. Unless another member has a better idea it maybe time to play this card.

    Do you have a spare disk you can install on so you can preserve the one installed?

    or do you Image your machine so you could restore?
