    Microsoft robo call


    Just checking! Scam in action? Call said to poke (1) to talk to a Microsoft technician to change my ip address which is compromised in several countries. I hung up. Right????

    Wrong.. you press 1, then act like a sort of idiot who knows nothing about PCs, keeping them on the line as long as you possibly can, wasting as much of their time as you can, so they're not calling other people who might fall for it.

    I once told a scammer that I couldn't see through my windows because the curtains were closed. She hung up.

    I'm retired. Although I'm busy enjoying life I do have time to Troll Telemarketers, especially those who "market" scams

    I have time and in a sick way.... I enjoy it
