What about 3rd party partition management software - try freeware versions of EaseUS and/or AEOMI.

As a trial and error step you can perform an in place upgrade repair:

Yes, thanks a lot. That's what I also had in mind...
But before trying it, I just wanted to find out, if this is broken in my system or one of the usual MS hiccups.

The Recovery partition is OK, WinRE works normally. It just is not shown properly in Disk management.

Guys, first of all thank you all for your help. I really appreciate it.

Would it be possible to take a look at your Disk Management and if:
    1. You're on 18363.719 or .720 and
    2. Have a Windows 10 (not OEM) Recovery partition

    post a screenshot?

That would be really helpful to see if its a System problem or a general MS failure of Disk Management.

Here's my screen shot. I couldn't access the partition in disk management but I could in EaseUS Partition Master. OS Version 10.0.18362.592. Not the version you asked for though.

Thank you. Presuming that you're on 18363.719 or .720, it seems that my Disk Management is broken and I should go for an in-place upgrade to see if it fixes it.

Ooops!... That might explain it. Mine was OK in 18363.657 as I don't remember looking at it in 18363.697.
So it might be that MS broke Disk Management.
