Following the latest updates 18363.719 and 18363.720, I noticed that in the Volume list of Disk Management, the Windows Recovery partition created when clean installed Windows 10, was missing.
It does show in the graphical representation of the drives, though.
When runreagentc /infoto check recovery partition existence it shows as partition 4 and it also shows indiskpart
Any ideas?
The HP recovery partition is a hidden partition which is shown in your PowerShell image. Disc Management will not show the partition in the list. I ran diskpart on My DELL laptop and under Info the recovery partition comes up as "System" and not "Hidden" and it shows in the list. This is why you can't see it. IMO..
Partition 2, reserved, is always hidden.
Partition 4, recovery, is typically visible in disk management.
If it's enabled then nothing needs to be done.
It can remain hidden.
If you want it unhidden then you can use the diskpart assign command.
Alternatively you can use third party software that has a menu option to unhide the partition.
I found that In some computers Recovery appears on the list, in others not. Also, the partition label is not shown, neither for the Recovery, nor for the EFI System partition. And when the partition is selected in the map, right click only shows "Help", or this and "Delete".
The Recovery partition appears normally in diskpart. Something is broken in Disk Management.
If I use assign in diskpart or use minitool to unhide it, it will be assigned a drive letter. That's not the case. It shouldn't be assigned a drive letter to be shown in Disk Management. At least it wasn't before the latest update.
And according to reagentc /info output, as shown in the screenshot, it is enabled.
I tend to agree with @Anibor that something seems broken in Disk Management. The question is, broken in my PC, or broken in general by MS.
