Anyone have a reg floating around to add a PATH?

ive just now realized how useful this (adding something in my environment variables) is and was hoping a means existed to get it into the context menu as opposed to having to go into system>advanced>environment variables and do it manually every time.

I guess it would just need to display on directories right?

    Hello mate,

Do you mean to have a context menu that will open Environment Variables?

For now, here's a tutorial below for how to download or create an Environment Variables shortcut that you can move or pin where you like.

Hi brink, no sorry. I mean a context menu that would simply add it. Right click > add to path or some such. To avoid even having to open the gui if thats possible?

It would be a bit complex for a context menu since setting a new environment variable would always use a unique specified variable name and value.

If it helps, option 5 below shows how to do this using a command.

gotcha, i figured if it were possible - it'd already be here so i was kind of expecting that answer :) NBD!

learned something new w/ the command though :) If i can memorize it then it'll certainly be easier as 9/10 id have the command window open anyhow.

    thanks good sir!

    You're most welcome.

If it helps, here's a new tutorial below to at least help make it easy to open Environment Variables from the desktop context menu.
