Why does Win 10 keep crashing

What version number is the Dell Latitude?

Which build of Win 10 please? What is the exact model of your laptop? How old is it... and to what version of Win 10 are drivers provided by Dell?

I don't experience Win 10 crashes on my 2 laptops...

In what way does it crash? Error message? BSOD? Sudden hard cutout with no error (=probably hardware)?

Without information it is quite impossible to answer your question given my crystal ball is currently down for scheduled maintenance and for the forseeable future.

I also suspect POS is a vulgar reference. Kindly refrain if you want decent answers.

Without any technical information of any kind there's no way to tell what your issues are.

As for POS OS - many here have used worse names so POS is tame.

Anyway help us help you by providing a bit more detailed information instead of a blank slate with "the thing keeps crashing along with Firefox. I can't believe how unreliable this POS OS is."

I have Win10 Pro on 4 Latitude Notebooks, E6410 14" x 2, E7240 12" and E3340 13", not seeing problems. The 12" portability was great while doing chemotherapy over 6 months May through Oct. One E6410 is 32-bit with 4GB RAM and the other 3 are 64-bit with 8GB RAM each.

What errors do you get in Reliability History & Event Viewer?

-note- there will only be such reports - or a BSOD error if applicable- if the crash isn't a catastrophic sudden shutdown, typical of overheating or a hardware problem. (Asked above).

Hmm, notice anything? Have I got the right machine? Is it guaranteed to be compatible with Win 10?

Sometimes people just thing 'Windows is Windows- I can always upgrade and never expect issues' - and a great many are lucky. Maybe you're not..?

Suggest you find comparable experiences of people running Win 10 on this PC. It's a bit like putting jet fuel into your car.. and expecting normal performance.
