Unwelcome MS Feature Notice on Startup?

What the sweet baby Louisa is this?

Turned on the box this morning and came back to this staring at me.
It had better be a one-off!

Nice! That box was checked. It is not now. Thanks
I had not noticed that line previously, and I do spend some time turning off settings when I set up after version upgrades.

The subject notice/ad came up again this morning, happened on 2 PCs. The Notification box is still unchecked.
Is MS ignoring the setting now?

That setting you tried to change only applies after a specific Build number, as shown in the tutorial.
    - Your Settings dialog does not look the same as that illustrated in the tutorial.
    - Nobody has found a solution for current builds such as the Version 1909 you are on.
    - There are several other threads on the subject.
    - We all have to just grin & bear it.

    Thanks for that. It helps

For me it will be "curse a lot and bear it"!

Also uncheck Show me the Windows welcome experience after updates and occationally when I sign in to highlight what's new and suggested. . Next time it shows up go through the set-up and selecting 'later' or whatever the wording is, rather than 'skip'. It seems to leave me alone for quite a while afterwards

I think I'm going to try Winaero Tweaker next, as Dalchina suggested.

    Fabler2,

    That's a separate thing.

    Here's the tutorial set
Turn Off Windows Suggestions - TenForumsTutorials
Turn Off Windows Welcome Experience - TenForumsTutorials
Turn Off Suggested Content in Settings - TenForumsTutorials

In case somebody suggests looking at How to Disable Get Even More Out of Windows - MajorGeeks, Brink has looked into that and thinks it's wrong [as explained in a post in one of the tutorials].
