STOP windows from searching when I have already found my file

STOP windows from searching when I have already found my file-moreagravation.jpg
So yes I have found my file and my computer does not want to stop searching. We used to be able to stop the search. Is there a way to halt my search when the file I want has shown up. ? This is windows 10 1903

Windows doesnt really know that is the file you were looking for. It won´t stop until it shows you the files meeting the criteria in the search box. You can use filters to help you restrict such search. I think you should be able to close it or stop it from the huge red X, once you see the file you were looking for and opened it...

Clicking that big red X above Close search has always worked for me.

I am seeing it is worth it to watch some introductory videos on windows 10. Also being in a hurry I am finding will make things take longer. Computer work is not something I can not be in a rush to get done it will just make it all take more time and cause mistakes.
