    uh huh

the photos themselves are only part of the issue. i find them sort of fascistic - natural perfection that has been shot / photoshopped in a pristine manner and then appropriated for use as a means of generating corporate feel good. added to this are the facile little comments in an over familiar and cheery manner. i dont like being addressed in this way. it's patronising and promotes, in that fascistic way i mentioned, some sort of cultural hegemony. the hegemony is reinforced by the fact most / many of the pictures are from the US. they like california coves. with seals. generally i dont want someone else culturally expressing themselves to me on a daily basis in a medium which i own. ditto 'welcome'. this word implies ownership - their ownership - of a 'domain' i own.

This is a windows 10 help forum, I'm sure there are forums on the web that are there for political diatribe - This is not one of them.

Please take a look at the forum rules - particularly rule 8 No discussions of religion, politics, or firearms.

As for the ownership of Windows 10, the ownership is not in any doubt, The software remains the sole property of Microsoft.

Users are Licenced to use the software subject the the rules and restrictions laid out in the End User Licence Agreement

diatribe? i was prompted to explain my dislike of the pictures. i explained. there's no need to get insulting about it. you think your status quo dialogues arent political by default? in some countries my opinions wd not be so controversial. you have just appropriated w10 for the US / UK. the hegemony i was talking about. anyhow. it's yr forum. i wont say any more.

i thought someone might tell me i didnt really own my w10 software. that's why i feel like i dont i guess
