"Hmm. My store says I already got them."

Mine changed to the new ones when the Apps updated thru the Store. My taskbar screenshot shows the new ones that match the ones in the article that Post 5 points to. Did nothing other than hit 'Get Updates' button in the Store.

edit: to Poolman, I do not have the new Voice Recorder or Groove icons shown in the article (don't have the other pre-installed apps in screenshot in article to check)

What are you requesting at the store to get the new icons?
I normally don't use the store for Windows updates.
I use the update installer app in Windows 10.

    Dumb ole guys ask.

I don't normally respond to a solved thread, but since this is a new issue, I thought I would add data to the collection.
My understanding is that Cumulative Windows Updates are independent from Microsoft Store updates. The new icons were delivered by Microsoft Store updates.

The new icons appeared suddenly on my Windows 10 Home system earlier in the week, but I figured that our work systems running Windows 10 Pro were so locked down that we would never see these updates. I was pleasantly surprised to see the new icons the next day on these locked down Windows 10 Pro systems. Just to give you some background, my workplace deliberately delays installing of Windows 10 Updates for about 2 years. We haven't even been upgraded to 1903 yet. So, I guess that Microsoft Store updates were overlooked. I don't know if you can control Microsoft Store updates through Group Policy or not.

I just did a cumulative update to four PCs and two of them still have the old icons.

    Should this version include them?
