After Removing Onedrive Many Files Remain.

I recently removed Onedrive from 3 of my W10 1909 machines and found many, many files associated with Onedrive on each of them.

Search Everything reveals the following examples:
C:windows//Winsxs\amd64-microsoft windows-s..ivebackup._ .... plus many more in Winsxs
    Setting Handlers_... several files
For about 50 more in c:\\Windows\Servicing\LCU

Most are small,2kb, but few are 20kb or larger.

I've no idea what the files are and am unable to delete them using Search Everything because I keep getting a message about needing permission from Trusted Installer.

I am clearing in over my head here and really need some help?

    Thank you.

There's absolutely no reason whatsoever to remove OneDrive outside the unfounded fear mongering posted around the internet. If you don't want to use the app simply turn it off - Enable or Disable OneDrive Integration. Many people get themselves in trouble by going about unconventional means in "taming" Windows 10.

As to fixing what you've done - my advice is to try a repair install - Repair Install Windows 10 with an In-place Upgrade and then disable OneDrive via the above link (the correct way).

    Good luck.

Thank you very much! I will return things to where they were before my misguided adventure. Will take a simple approach to doing so rather than a 'repair install'. I have a Macrium backup just before uninstalling Onedrive. I make one just before I go on one of my adventures.

    Thanks again.
