    music files with an X on them


    Does anyone know why and how to remove this X, I cant transfer/Copy these files

    Are they maybe on some cloud? Maybe they are available only online thus the x

    they play OK, I just cant transfer them to my Phone or anything else?

    If they are from Apple,you can't copy them.If you downloaded them,try using another programme,e.g. 4K video downloader.Also use VLC and see if the "Playback" option allows you to copy them.

    Looks like something the program they are associated with is adding the x.

    Not that I have a solution to suggest, but I think it is interesting that only three of the eight files in your list have that gray X. Are you able to copy those files which do not have the X? That might lead to a clue as to how the files got created, etc.

    Also where is the image captured from, it does not look like a regular windows file layout, if people knew the source of the image it would assist with finding a solution
