Hi, my username is notbothered, i am really, bit computr illiterate, my excuse, i'm ninty one, they never had gas operated computers in my day !
Problem, my screen turns off if i leave it a few minutes, all a little annoying,cant seem to rectify it
forever logging in.
Any help (in laymans terms) would be appriciated.

Get to the right place to change this setting -
right-click on the Start button,
scroll down to the entry Windows system and click on it to expand it,
Control panel,
[in the upper-right area, select View by - you can choose either Large icons or Small icons],
click on Power options,
on the right of the name of your 'power scheme' [which is probably called "Balanced"], click on Change plan settings.
You can then use the dropdown list to change the time it waits before turning off to whichever time you want,
and press Save changes afterwards.

Could you please confirm that right clicking on your Start button still shows Control Panel.
I wish to thank all those who literally sprang to my assistance, had my answers within minuets.
