Do you have Hard Disk Sentential? Those icons look like their default drive icons which show they’re being monitored.

Yes I do have Hard Disk Sentienl. That has to be it. That's why my other Pro system doesn't have those green check marks.
    Case closed.

Which is also why I asked this question...

Anyway do you have any type of offsite backup program? Example: I run Carbonite Safe and for each drive that has files backed up there's a colored dot next to the drive, as well as every file backed up by Carbonite.
Point being could something else be causing those marks. Answer.... yes!

Backup can add green ticks but usually these are added to files & folders not to entire drives & as the drive icon changes slightly with HDS then these indicated to me it was that software which may be the culprit.

Please re-read the post you quoted. I'm not telling you what I'm "guessing" I'm telling what I know from actual experience. Just as "your" actual experience with "your" software helped solve the OP's issue

OK. I’m not saying you’re wrong or that you’re guessing, only stating what I know from using the same HD software & using Norton which also has those green ticks.
Yes backup software can add those green ticks but I’ve never seen them added to drives. If you know of the backup software which does add ticks to the drives then I’d be interested in hearing about it. :)

I already told you.... Carbonate Safe Backup....

The two drives with the dots are the drives that have data being backed up to Carbonite. The Green dot on Videos means the entire folder is backed up and up to date.

    Thank you.

I get those green check marks only on St. Patrick's Day.
