I do not use CCleaner but my understanding, from reading other TenForums threads, is that CCleaner keeps a log of Registry entries that it had changed. Doesn't that point you to the item you need to preserve?

I don't know exactly which item CCleaner is purging BUT on a hunch I deselected "Other Explorer MRUs" from CCleaner, ran it, and so far the smaller/minimized/whatever-you-wanna-call-it setting is being retained (once set per application).

I believe you chose wisely! By default, that box is un-checked in CCLeaner, like mine. And like I said before, it remained everywhere I had set it.
Is it possible to change "Open" and "Save As" windows view to "List" instead of "Details" globally without having to set List view in File Explorer? I would like to use Details view in File Explorer and List view for "Open" and "Save As" windows.

After switching to EDGE from IE11 and importing all my IE Favorites I get sometimes ADD sometimes SAVE button when adding a new WEB site to my Favorites list.
My problem - the ADD button works and I get the site added, but the SAVE mostly does...
