Careful with /MIR, it can delete files in the target that are not in the source. Better to stick with /DCOPY:T
Yes, /MIR can delete files in the backup. Personally, that's what I want. Not everybody may want that, but I do cleanup stuff from time to time and organize pictures and such. I run a 7 day backup rotation on my server, so I have 7 days to discover that something bad happened. From there, I backup to a few different external drives about once a month.

Might as well add this one to the list.

Karen's Replicator the Backup Utility for Windows v3.7.6 Released May 25, 2020 | Karen's Power Tools

On my last build, I used to use this to copy only new or changed files from 3 partitions on Disk 1, to 3 identical partitions on Disk 2. Once you set up the job(s), it's just a single click to run them all.

Scans clean locally and at Virustotal.

Umm...why not use Explorer...open the folder then sort it by Date Created or Date Modified. Then CTRL+Click on file names to tag each file then right click and copy/paste??

    And it's FREE

Why not use SyncBackFree? It is also free.

    Doesn't maintain date/time of original file/folder.

Why not use <insert your favorite here>? There are many choices, it all comes down to preference and what you are familiar with.

Just found this thread - someone mentioned FreeFileSync - I agree with that choice although I might give Robocopy a blast
FFS is here FreeFileSync: Open Source File Synchronization & Backup Software

Robocopy cannot display Chinese filenames on my English Windows 10, while SyncBackFree can.
