thank you for the link.
yes,sorry, jpegs
Not unhappy xD, but confussed that some programs dont include their own handlers and others do, and not sure whose fault it is when preview thumbnails are not shown in windows. :P

mmhmm nice thank you
Really was disappointed that here we are in 2020 and nobody had a real solution for this. So. I got together with a coder and with a few modifications of available technology, have released a new program that fully supports EPUB, CBZ and CBR files. Enjoy!
GitHub - dark-knight404/DarkThumbs: Thumbnail preview for EPUB, CBZ, CBR, RAR and ZIP image archives
I dearly thank you and the team for coming together and creating this. What a life saver!
Are there plans to add support for mobi files? Those behave like epubs on the surface.
If not, no matter. Alissa's MobiHandler seems to work just fine on Win10.
Oh, I just noticed DarkThumbs works for some epub files but not others. Strange.

@Unknow0059
Hi there
I'd install Calibre - acts also as a e-book reader, can convert between the various formats and can copy into kindles etfc.
I like calibre since it means you can get say an epub e-book , convert to mobi / AZI3 and then load it into a kindle so one isn't restricted to amazon for .mobi type of e-books. (BTW Free)
calibre - E-book management
enjoy
Cheers

Hi there
@Unknow0059
I'm on Linux at the moment but identical interface on Windows
You can convert books (arrow on the toolbar), get book details inc publication date etc, read e-book, copy from / to device, add books easily, save books to any file on computer (you don't have to store in calibre library) and many other things - it's an excellent program.
Cheers
