    I dont have anything on the left hand side.
    I only have top headers.

    I have not had a Dell bios with that layout for ages. If arrow keys & Tab do not move you around different bits of the screen then try the Enter key.

    I'm confused.

    Is the SSD the only drive that is physically present?

    If yes, what do you see in Disk Management? Attaching a screenshot of that could be helpful.

    Hi,
    Using partition wizrd ive now managed to put one hard drives space etc onto the C crive.
    Now i have a C drive and a D drive system reserved of which is 233Mb
    I have now hidden this so all i see is the C drive

    It's unusual to have a drive letter assigned to the recovery partition. Not sure I want to know how that happened.
