    Thanks Golden,
I've installed it and it is loading the events, there are a couple of errors which I will list. Can I ask you whether I have done anything Risky where one of my screenshots has my computer name at the top of it? I was trying to delete it but I couldn't get it to delete it. Maybe I'm being paranoid about it, do you think there is any worry?

I'll list some of the errors next post. Thanks.

No, there is no risk involved with posting that information.

Information to avoid posting is personally identifiable information - for example an email address. Never post that information here. The moderators are very good at spotting these sorts of things, and will delete that automatically if you inadvertently post it by mistake.

I wonder whether I should run the backup of my C: Drive (It is the system drive). I haven't done any backups since this reboot behaviour started. The PC has run continuously since I did the last update which was about 1:30pm my time, it is 5:07pm now, I'm now wondering whether this storm has past? Any comments?

Backups are always a good idea - definitely do one now.

If you use disk imaging (highly recommended) the act of imaging (all partitions needed for Windows - not just 'C: ) verifies the integrity of the file system for the used parts of the partitions imaged.

    Hi Dalchina,

I was hoping I'd hear from you. I've certainly done some of the things you've asked but not all. I was somewhat overwhelmed. I can say that a further Windows 10 update became available earlier today which I installed. Whether it is a coincidence or not I do not know, but the PC has run continuously (for the last 4 hours), without rebooting. I'm not sure what to make of that.

I followed the link you gave me which went to the Softpedia site for HD Tune but wasn't able to find a button that would let me download it, I went to the HD Tune site and got a trial version of HD Tune Pro, but it was a bit too complex to know what readings I was getting. The tempratures I've posted earlier. I also installed FullEventLogView as suggested by Golden, but again I'm not sure what information I can derive from it.
Thanks for your help to this point.

I use a backup system named Casper, from Future Systems Solutions. I've been using it for years, have you heard of it?
I'm keen to do the backups provided the system is stable.

-> Download Now - then select from next dialogue from 1 of about 3 locations.

Actually Golden quoted me on that- see my post #4 where I suggested what to look for.

When I tried it, there was no response. I'm sure you are right, I'm not trying to play games with this. I'm simply interested in determining whether I can continue using my PC. If I implied the wrong thing, I apologise.
