OneDrive folders appear under 'ThisPC' dialog windows of many programs

    Hi everyone,

whenever I open a dialog window in a program (i.e. to open/save a file) I get, under ThisPC all Onedrive folders before getting the Drives.
Under This PC I cleaned all folders that are not drive, so it looks like:

OneDrive folders appear under 'ThisPC' dialog windows of many programs-thispc.jpg

While my OneDrive folder (location: D:\OneDrive) :
OneDrive folders appear under 'ThisPC' dialog windows of many programs-oned1.jpg

Well, these are my dialog windows for 3 different programs.

OneDrive folders appear under 'ThisPC' dialog windows of many programs-oned2.jpgOneDrive folders appear under 'ThisPC' dialog windows of many programs-oned3-adobe.jpgOneDrive folders appear under 'ThisPC' dialog windows of many programs-oned3-dup.jpg

The onedrive folders are before any drive unit.

    Thank you for any help

    cheers

How did you "clear" them under This PC?

How about the file dialogs opened by Notepad?

I think I cleared them with a tutorial found in this site, it works with this registry edit:

    [-HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace\{088e3905-0323-4b02-9826-5d99428e115f}]

for every folder you want to delete.

Actually with notepad the dialog window is fine!

Ithiught it would be. All your screenshots were of legacy (32-bit) dialogs.

    Look in the registry under:
    Code:
    HKLM\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer\MyComputer\NameSpace
Delete the subkeys there as well.
