Windows 10 Desktop Search Not Working

Desktop search appears blank when I open it.

Restarting 'SearchUI.exe' fixed it once, but not working anymore. Also, it works fine in another user account.

Hello Lagnaetti,

Using step 3 in the tutorial below to "Turn Off Search online and include web results from Bing" should fix the broken blank search in Windows 10.

So why is it I have 10 PCs (no I don't use them all at once) and only 2 of them display this issue? That's of more concern to me than fixing it.. :)

It's some issue on the Microsoft servers end. The fix is a workaround to get it to work until Microsoft gets it sorted out on their end.

Rumor is that Microsoft has it sorted now, so it may soon be working again for all.
