    Icon visual feedback...

    Hello,
I am new to windows 10 but have used windows 7 for many years. My question is this....How do I get windows 10 to show when an icon in the taskbar is clicked? It shows it in windows 7 but not in 10. thx.

Not sure what you mean by this. A clip from my taskbar the same version as you shows three icons. The first one is open and has focus. It shows with a highlight and underlined. The second is open without focus and shows as underlined. The third is not open and has no highlight or underline.

In windows 7 when I click on an icon in the taskbar it acts like it moves a bit. But not in windows 10.

No. In Windows 10 the icon you hover over is highlighted, and when you click on it the highlight briefly dims to show you have clicked it.

It's quite subtle but it's there.
