The problem is not the SSD, but the actual installation of Windows. Did you use an official ISO or some "lite" or modified version?

I have a feeling the boot screen is displayed by integrated GPU then when Windows loads it switches display to the 1050 card. Try entering BIOS and disabling integrated GPU or switch it to discrete graphics (there may be an option along those lines).

Addition to my previous post, for some reason I thought the OP had one of those dual graphics machines, if not then my idea won't work.

Hmm, I have Win10 Pro an i5-8400s (IGPU but disabled in BIOS), B360 motherboard, and GTX 1050Ti with latest Nvidia drivers (442.19), using a HD TV (1920 x 1080p, 60Hz) just driver installed, no audio, no PhysX, no GeForce experience.
Works fine so it should be ok for the Op, the only thing I've noticed is the POST screen is 1920 x 1080 i, until the Windows spinning dots appear then it changes to 1920 x 1080 p.

It would be easier to ignore this situation.1. Booting is a rare event, so you'll not see this "problem" often.
2. Look the other way when booting. There's really nothing to see.
3. The time spent fixing this isn't worth the result.
For my money Windows could simply put up a simple text saying "I'm booting ..." until the login screen finally appears.
