    windows 10 logo resolution when booting


    hi guys!
    after I changed samsung ssd 850 evo 250 gb to samsung ssd 850 evo 1tera, I installed fresh Windows 10 again on the new disk, everything is perfect, but I noticed a difference in the Windows 10 logo when the computer booting and the problem with the resolution of the logo only because when entering the system the screen resolution changes for normal. but while booting, it appears large and the circle that rotates below it appears oval and not circular due to the wrong resolution.

    Note that all drivers are installed without problems, the two intel and nvidia are installed.

    I tried to reinstall the old 250 GB drive and had no problem with it because it appears with normal resolution. so the problem just happening with the new ssd.

    i have HP WorkStation Z210, Windows 10 Pro x64, Version 10.0.18363 Build 18363
    and i'm using nvidia gtx 1050 ti conected with monitor usin hdmi cable.

    Install the 250GB SSD. Export the drivers then install new 1TB drive and copy the exported drivers to a location oh your SSD and use them to updated the Video or any other device that needs help: Read on:

    if your current OS is windows 10 and you are wanting to clean install windows 10 on that PC.

    You can Export the current drivers from that Windows 10 OS - for use after the re-installation of windows 10

    from command prompt(admin)
    type> md c:\Drivers
    type> Dism /online /Export-Driver /Destination:C:\Drivers

    Copy the C:\Drivers Folder to a USB or different drive that will not be affected by the install.

    Once you reinstall the OS - if the needed driver is not present within OS
    You can use Device Manager and point to the Drivers folder on the USB
    DM should find and install the needed driver(s) from the prior OS

    The problem now is that i formatted the old ssd, is there any other way to solve this

    Remove and install latest Nvidia drivers:

    Get the latest driver for your Nvidia card here: NVIDIA Driver Downloads
    Completely uninstall the current Nvidia display drivers using Display Driver Uninstaller (DDU) from WagnardMobile here: Official Download Here. Do this in Safe Mode.

    Then do a custom install of only the Nvidia Graphics and PhysX driver.

    See if that gets rid of the problem.

    thank you very much for keeping help me, but unfortunately i just tried all what you said, and i still have the problem

    Now i stuck on black screen when i tried to install Nvidia driver that i downloaded, driver cannot be installed, help

    If the distortion is only when booting then it's annoying but nothing to get worked up about.

    What version of Windows 10? Run winver from a run box (Window key + R, type winver and press enter). For instance, mine shows:

    You said you did a fresh install of Windows 10. What did you actually do? Did you do a Clean Install, deleting all partition on the boot drive so you installed to a blank, unallocated drive? Did you follow a tutorial (like the one I link to above)?

    yeah, it's only when booting, and everything work perfect but i want to know why that happened, and it's bother me

    we're using the same version, this is mine :

    How is your video setup in BIOS/UEFI?
    Do you have the HP Z210 Convertible Minitower Workstation or one of the SFF (Small Form Factor) systems?
    Manual I looked at here: HP Z210 CMT Workstation Maintenance and Service Guide

    Try the HP Vision Diag Utilities shown on page 126.

    Accessing HP Vision Diagnostics
    There are three ways to access, install and use HP Vision Diagnostics:

    ● Use the Vision Creator utility, pre-installed on your workstation, to burn HP Vision Diagnostics to
    CD or DVD.

    ● Use additional preinstalled utilities on your workstation to either:
    ◦ Create a bootable USB flash key or
    ◦ Create a bootable DVD or CD.

    ● If for some reason the above options are not available (for example, your primary hard drive was
    erased and then restored), you can download HP Vision Diagnostics from the HP Web site.

    Using Vision Creator
    HP Vision Creator is pre-installed on your workstation and makes it easy to burn HP Vision Diagnostics
    onto a CD or DVD:

    1. To initiate Vision Creator, select: Start > All Programs > PC Help & Tools > HP Vision
    Diagnostics Disc Creation.

    2. Follow the prompts to burn HP Vision Diagnostics onto optical media.

    Accessing HP Vision Diagnostics Utilities
    These procedures describe how to access the HP Vision Diagnostics utilities that are included in the
    computer software.

    Creating and using a bootable USB key
    This section describes how to use a USB key to access the HP Vision Diagnostics.
    NOTE: Using a USB key is the most convenient method to access HP Vision Diagnostics.

    1. In the C:\VisionDiagnostics\ directory, double-click on VisionDiagUSB.exe. A setup menu
    appears.

    2. Follow the setup prompts to create a bootable ISO image of the diagnostic utilities on a USB key.

    BIOS Mode is UEFI and i have HP Z210 Convertible Minitower Workstation
