Windows 10X will be our OS for Desktop PC?
Hello, everybody!:
Somebody can to explain to me what's the finality of the development of the new Windows called 10X? Will be only for PC folding or also for the traditional PC?
Thank you all in advance.

Windows Lite/Santorini will be for foldables. Desktops will continue to run Windows full versions.

They wanna dumb down laptops into pads now?

I kinda hate tablets (and MacBooks) due to lack of user serviceability, but answering your question, 10x is only for those weird two-faced blue-faced lily-livered sorry excuses for a computer. (so hallelujah!!!)

I believe Windows has a problem it needs to address: how to offer a much simpler safer OS for most users who don't want to learn ANYTHING but simply pick up a PC and start using it.
Before you say, hey, that's not remotely possible -- people who use iPhones, Android, and iPads as their main computer are ON THIS PAGE. And they even find THOSE devices trying at times. (Rightfully so because, well, sometimes they are.)
So if Windows is working on a BONEHEAD OS in many ways that is a great thing. The bad thing, IMO, kicks in when people like us are afraid we're getting a Hasbro OS.
I hope what's actually going to happen is that WinX is a 'sandbox' environment. Safe as hell. Virus and malware and adware and exploit free. And that, like Chrome OS, it basically maintains itself. But if you open a Windows 10 program -- that lives in a non-internet environment. That is protected by X from invasion.
Of course performance issue kicks in. Sandbox is a sluggish mess compared to Windows 10 since it's virtual Windows.
