    Are command prompt & power shell same ?

    No, they are different but similar. PowerShell has a more powerful command set. You can easily switch one into the other. In Powershell you can type CMD to run a command prompt, or type POWERSHELL in a command prompt to go the other way.

    Leave it as Powershell then Press Window key+R, type cmd and press Enter to open a Command Prompt.
    To open a Elevated Command Prompt, click Start, type cmd, right click on cmd.exe at top left and select Run as Administrator.

    Thanks. I see Recovery, HP tools partitions, that came from Win 7 OEM install along with HP DV6DX.

    Do I need to keep as is in Win 10 or reclaim for user disk space?

    If yes, how do I do that ?

    If it's working, leave it. You are probably not talking abut much space.

    Ten days after the upgrade there should be automatic deletion of windows.old.
    This can significantly increase the free space.
