    Hello @MDRI,

It would depend if your HP DV6 model has Windows 10 drivers available for it or not.

If not, then I wouldn't recommend to install or upgrade to Windows 10 since it may not run or run properly without these drivers.

Your specs list a Windows 10 laptop. Could you use this software on it instead?

Can't answer any questions in your private messages.

But! I have no answer for what you want to do with dual booting Win 7 and Win 10. It's not my 'expertise'.

Then what is the workaround? Shall I use an external USB to boot for win 10?

How to I check whether my HP DV6 model has Windows 10 drivers available for it or not?

    Thanks for your guidance.

Do you know the full model number of the HP DV6 laptop? There should be a sticker or imprint on the bottom of the laptop or under the battery with the model number etc... on it.

If so, post it here, and I can look it up on HP's support page website to see which Windows it has drivers available.

I answered his PM with a link to a Brink tutorial on dual booting Windows 10 and Win 7 or 8.

Sounds MDRI is doing to much PMing. Keep stuff in the threads. Don't look for private support. It's against forum policy and annoys people who do want to help.

You weighed in here with Win 10 install experience on HP Pavilion DV6.

How did you get win 10 drivers for your install ?

    Thanks for guidance
