What I've been calling my "third" monitor actually is already set as my main display. I apologize if my terminology was misleading. I have unpinned/re-pinned FE to taskbar a number of times/ways but I can't get it to ever go to the taskbar on what we'll now call my main display.

This is not a life-or-death issue for me, and I feel you have been overly generous with your time in trying to help. I wouldn't mind at all if we just let it go unsolved for a while. Ha ha, Maybe a Microsoft fairy will eventually appear and spread some answer dust on my monitor.

My monitors are numbered in display settings as 3 1 2. 1 for me just happens to be my main display. My post was more of an, if 3 isn't your main, try making it your main.
I guess you could try making one of your other monitors main, then see what happens. Then switch it back to 3?

You may be onto something here (but I'm not sure it's a fix). My monitors are numbered in display settings as 2 1 3, and 1 is my main display. FE is missing from 1's taskbar, but present on 2 and 3.

In display settings I made changed main from 1 to 3 and FE disappeared from 3 and DID appear on 1 (and 2). I then unpinned FE from taskbar and re-pinned it to taskbar, and still only on 1 (and 2). When I switched main back to 1, FE disappeared from 1 and re-appeared on 3 (and 2), i.e., I'm back to square 1 (npi). So, it seems that whatever monitor is set to main will not show FE in taskbar in my Windows 10 Home (ver. 1909 build 18363.592).

When I use the normal "Pin to Taskbar" process, the File Explorer shortcut icon appears on the taskbars of only two of my three monitors. All other taskbar icons (shortcuts, running programs, etc.) appear on all three monitors. I would appreciate knowing how to get the missing icon on the third monitor, as that's the one I use most.
Make the third monitor the primary one if it's the one you use most.

I'm curious as to why you need three monitors? Are you watching, navigating or just trying to sync?
I use dual monitors and now I can't live without them. My graphics card only supports two.

Once you have a second or third Monitor hooked up, you soon learn to make good use of them. And going back to just one monitor doesn't cut it anymore, lol. I saw an ASUS USB monitor (DisplayLink) on sale and grabbed it for use with my ASUS Laptop. It's nice and light and easily fits in my laptop carry bag. It's the same color as my laptop and has the exact same logo on the back. Win. win. And it runs off of just one USB plug.
