Wife just called and told me she deleted her notary foiles off of the thumbdrive. I thought when a file is deleted from a thumbdive it is gone forever. Can it be recovered? It does not show up in the main computer's recycle bin. I told her to eject the drive and not to add anything else to it. She's om win10 pro. Thanks.

Going forward, while this won't help right now, for the future: since she needs those files on a thumb drive, have her always use two thumb drives, saving changes and additions onto both flash drives, delete from one, later delete from the other. If one fails, the other one probably will work just fine. Even much better: use FreeFileSync once or twice a day to update one flash drive from the other flash drive.
Update: Disk Drill recovered the Word and Excel files she needed. However, when Excel tried to open it, I got a message box saying the file was corrupted. The Word document opened ok. Using easeUS, Excel opened the file. All is good. Thanks again.
