How to manually refresh File Explorer? F5 does not work

How can I manually enforce refresh File Explorer view?

If I press F5 key then from the right side a "Project" pane appears with entries like "PC screen only",
    "Duplicate", "Extend", ....)

    So whats that?
Is F5 (accidentially) false-assigned? How can re-assign "normal" refresh meaning?

If this is a laptop then the function keys may have a secondary use by holding down the Fn key at the same time. Some models have a Fn key lock feature. What PC do you have? My guess is it has an F Lock key and you have accidentally pressed it. If so, press it again to return to normal.

Keys with an Fn key or F Lock provide two sets of commands for many keys. This includes the top row of standard function keys (F1–F12)...
