Include PSU. cooler, case, peripherals and anything attached to the computer by wired or wireless (mouse, keyboard, headset, printer, xbox, USB wireless network card, etc.)
What do you mean by locking? Hang? Freeze?
Was the shutdown spontaneous or manual?
Download and Install HP UEFI hardware diagnostics:
This typically creates a new partition on the drive.

Plan to run the testing overnight.
Power on the computer and repetitively click F2.
Open the BIOS and run the HP UEFI hardware diagnostics > system > extensive > loop until error
In the AM if it has made at least 2 loops > click esc > run the component tests as needed (many are interactive)
Find a camera or smartphone camera to take pictures and post images of the tests performed with the results.
Please post screenshots that help explain what you mean by Say Locking And Then Shut Down.

take a picture with a cell phone then, or even better a video of it happening when you go to turn off your pc.
While I haven't seen this during Shutdown, I often see it when telling my PC to Sleep. Very briefly Windows displays "Locking" before going to sleep. (I don't know if this happens when the PC enters Sleep because of inactivity, just when I tell it to Sleep.)
The same message is briefly displayed if I use the Lock function so I assume Windows performs a Lock before doing the Sleep or Shutdown. I think you can ignore it.
