COMPUTER freeze during youtube and gaming.

    Hi all,

I recently build a new PC, 2-3 weeks old. All new parts...
I noticed while playing game (WoW) and watching youtube on a different monitor (I run 2x 4k monitors). My PC will completely locked up, I can still hear the sound of the game playing in the background, but I can't do anything else but soft-reset my PC.

This has happened twice, and I can't pinpoint the reason whats causing it.
I'm using Firefox as my browser.
The first time time it happened, i remembered it occurred as i was switching from 720p to 1080p video (fullscreen). Not sure if this is relevant or not.

The reliability history only notifies me that window has failed to shutdown properly.

You are in the wrong forum. As the Attention box at the top of the forum says:

Suggest you post this in General Support forum or I can ask one of the Admins to move it.

    Hi Ztruker,

Sorry about that, i guess this doesn't really count as BSOD. Can I ask you to ask the admin to move this?

    Regards

In the search box, type in---dxdiag---and check each page.Note the driver version on page 1 and check the maker's site for a possible later version.
Use Display Driver Uninstaller [DDU] in safe mode to unistall/reinstall the driver.
    As a precaution,run---sfc /scannow---three times,followed by---dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth---to fix any faulty files.
