    Start menu issue

I upgraded from Windows 7 Home. Somewhere along the line a Windows 8 start menu icon ended up on my desktop. I thought I would click on it and see what it did. It changed the start menu to a very cheap looking Windows 7 start menu. I liked the new Windows 10 start menu and would like to get it back. How do I do his?
    Thanks,
    Gary

    • Click the Start button and then click the Settings button.
    • At the Settings window, click the setting for Personalization.
    • At the Personalization window, click the option for Start.
    • In the right pane of the screen, you'll see a setting that says "Use Start full screen" that's currently turned off.
Turn that setting on so the button turns blue and the setting says "On."
    • Now click the Start button, and you should see the full Start screen.

Can you upload a screenshot? (press Winkey+PrtScr and it will save into your Pictures folder) There's no way to change the Start menu in Windows 10 to anything other than the default. Do you have Classic Shell, StartIsBack, or Start10/Start8 installed?
