    Shutdown doesn't fully shutdown+Network Issue (Win10, 1909)


    Hi!
    I'm not sure if these two problems are related but okey so the first issue i have is that when i choose to Shutdown regularly, it says "shutdown" and closes the screen and everything except that the actual box is still running with the power on as it's on however everything seems to be off... i thought this could be an hibernate mode but also with that it should have shutdown the main power to be in hibernate state however the power is still on as if normal active mode.

    The second issue is that my NORDVPN seem to break my entire ethernet adapter when either connecting or disconnecting from the vpn server, i try to renew and release and flush the ip / dns however it doesn't help... even to disable the ethernet adapter doesn't work and just keeps loading as forever.

    Now if these two are linked i thought it could do with the power options on the Ethernet adapter so i choose to mark both of the "allow the computer to turun off this device to save power and allow this device to wake the computer"
    However that did not help.

    Selecting "shutdown" does not switch off the PSU.To achieve that you either switch off at the wall or the PSU switch itself,normally next to the power lead.
    When shutdown is used,your monitor led should go from green to amber.
    Try running without NORDVPN installed and see if that works.
    Also check Reliability History for any entries relevant to your problem.
    IF you have changed Hibernate in any way,then reset it to "off".

    What i meant with the shutdown, usually it turns off everything inside the machine (basically no sound). Of course the PSU is still connected and on-demand active.
    But as i said the computer shuts down but the main power button is on and i have to hold down the power button in order to boot the pc again (So it forces full shutdown) and then i'll be able to boot it.

    Yes running without NORDVPN (without disconnecting works) but that's the thing... why does it break when i connect to a VPN or disconnects from it?

    Does your Reliability History give any information regarding either or both problems?
    The power button is connected to the mobo and is controlled from there,so your mobo user manual might give some help.

    I found some things that could refer to the problem, however not entirely sure if it's related to the ethernet adapter... either way some of the Hardware errors looks like this:

    In Reliability History,the "view tech details" top two lines give you enough information to carry out a search,specific to the problem.Often you will find supplementary info under "more Details"
    AS to NORDVPN,firstly try running "sfc /scannow" without the quotes,three times,followed by" dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth",which should eliminate any win10 problems,
    If that still doesn't work,then uninstall/reinstall nordvpn.
    If that still doesn't work,then all I can suggest is use something other than nordvpn,or nothing at all
    The only supplement to win10 I use,is Macrium,paid version.The free one is excellent.

    About Reliability History... it's exactly what i did if you see the code/attachment... also done the scannow but nothing found. Reinstalled NORDVPN 2x times already.

    Okey, so at every shutdown of the pc when it crash and i check the reliability history it's always one thing next to the system hardware crash and it's the "OriginWebHelperService.exe"

    Seems like it's not only me who had problems with it... question is how to fix it.
    I've tried to remove it from the services.msc to disabled it at startup, but problem persists.
