    Reinstalling the Photos App or use Windows Photo Viewer.
    there were 4 suggestions, did you try them all?

    Yes I updated, I ressetted and I restored the program except I didn't do the whole system restore, because I wouldn't know where to restore in the first place

    I'm sure that if somebody try to save the settings, it won't save for them too.

    No one said to do a System Restore, unless it was working before and is not now.
    the other suggestion was to Uninstall the Photos App, restart the computer and Reinstall.
    Or better yet, use a 3rd part app like Irfanview and not use the default Windows app.

    @spunk

    I don't use the photo app to watch pictures, only to import pictures from usb stick

    when I plug a usb stick in my PC I need something to import my files , right? yes ( and the native windows process which is doing it, it is the photos app in win10 )

    There is no 3rd part app that can replace the native"process of importing pictures from a usb stick"

    I just want to save my preference (delete after import) when I import from a usb stick

    why is this so complicated, every software gets you to SAVE your preferences when you change them, but this Photo app thing just not save !

    Can somebody try to replicate, to know if it's just me that can't save the preference (delete after import) please?

    I'm having the exact same issue on a system. It will not save the delete on import setting. I'm gonna try the IrfanView solution and see if that works for me.

    Did the camera come with it's own installation CD? If so, did you use it to install your cameras settings?

    Using the default Windows picture importing shouldn't be this difficult to use. I have this issue on multiple systems with end users that are not the most computer savvy. Windows 7 picture importing was plug it in and let it rip, which it what they are accustomed to and are trying to adapt to the different way Win 10 does it.

    @Jacee
    No I remove the USB from the camera and transfer using a usb stick

    @Blackwood
    Weird that this is happening and that nobody is noticing it
    I'm trying to find a 3rd party software that could replace the "import tool from a usb stick" now...
