A (Google) search for
red x on folders sync
will help you.
Yes, thank you. It's Google Drive and some of it's folders. I know why it happened, just didn't now the meaning. Purchased and installed BitDefender and it messed up the C:\ drive so badly that I just restored the last mirror where BD wasn't installed yet.
You do not need any 3rd party Anti-virus software. The Windows 10 included Windows Defender is all you need. 3rd party AV are bloated and may cause problems as you have found.BitDefender and it messed up the C:\ drive so badly
Agree 100%, I panicked because Malware bytes found 5 Trojan viruses in the System32 folder. Then, my experience with Bitdefender was so horrific that I cancelled and got a refund. One source of the problem was a local file kept on Google Drive so that I can access the contents elsewhere. Each time the file changed, BD went crazy and deleted this file and numerous others kept on the Drive. The other problem was the deletion of the Autoexec.bat file in the startup folder. I need this batch file to start DNScrypt and start Autohotkey script in a particular folder.
