Suddenly getting "Battery Very Low" messages on Desktop

My office desktop workstation (upgraded from Win7 -> Win10 ~3 weeks ago) is suddenly getting "Your Battery Is Very Low" pop-up messages, which just started today. It's happened multiple times today. I have the machine plugged into a Tripp-Lite UPS, which is also connected via USB and reports that it's at 100%. So why am I getting this message, and why did it just start happening today? Is there any way to turn off battery messages?

I already tried going to Device Manager > Batteries > HID UPS Battery and updating the driver, but it says I'm already using the best driver.

See item #9 (Jason S 10/24/2018) in this SawStudioUser forum post WTFOT: "Battery is very low" warning on Windows 10. Sounds promising. I have my desktop plugged into a Tripp-Lite UPS but have never seen the message you (or that message thread) describe. Frustrating, yes?

wow talk about a clunky fix. A script that has to run at both startup and shut down? This is an office workstation so the machine stays on 24/7, although I log in/out every morning/evening. Is there not a way to just make my Windows installation stop giving battery warning messages? They're obviously wrong as the UPS battery is totally fine.

Scroll down this article (near the bottom) to see if setting a power plan helps. It mentions USB plugged in How to change power and sleep settings on Windows 10 | OSSTUFF

Open a command box and run as administrator,if possible in your situation.
Type in powercfg /help then go through the various switches and see if one suits your problem.
I don't have a ups so am not familiar with some of them.

I went to Advanced Power Settings, and under Battery I changed all the Alerts and Actions to "None" when the machine is plugged in. We'll see if that helps.
