This happens several times during the day and I have to close and re-open, sometimes it opens properly sometimes I have to completely close to open properly. Its been like it for a few months now and no one I ask in the office seems to be able to sort it. I lose all the top of the doc and the tool bar

- if you create a new user for test purposes, and log in as that user?
- after you do a clean boot (Google if unsure how)?
Please complete the make/model of your PC and, as prompted by the forum when you wrote your post, your build number and edition of Windows (Home/pro/enterprise..). E.g. Settings, About.
As it's a work PC, I guess you might have someone nominated as responsible for IT...
