    System Spell Check

On my other Windows 10 computer, there is (pretty) universal spell-checking. A wiggly red line under suspect words, suggestions available. You know the idea. Also on this computer if I create a new User Account. But not in my main User Account.

The settings in Devices/Typing are correct. The requisite Registry keys are present. But no spell-check.

Is there an alternative to re-creating my entire user profile?

    Windows 10 Pro Version 1909 Build 18363.535

    Thanks.

Hi exaltedwombat. Welcome to TenForums @exaltedwombat

You say your settings are correct under devices. I would suggest to disable in Settings and then restart. Once restarted go in and enable. Worth a shot.

I assume it also does not perform spell check in browser, what browser do you use?

I have Firefox and Chrome installed, alongside IE and Edge. Just as on the computer where spellcheck DOES work!

Good thought about removal and restart, but it didn't work :-(

Yes. That was what I meant in my original question by "The settings in Devices/Typing are correct. The requisite Registry keys are present".

    But thanks anyway.
