    Thank you for your reply....

No, no guarantees on fixing your particular problem. I merely make the general statement in response to your question
is there a "shortcut", in order to avoid the hassle of setting up every single thing all over again ?
in-place upgrade repair install- tutorial available - used and recommended many times- an important repair prodecure- it's the same procedure in essence as upgrading to the next Windows build. Are you sceptical about the validity of that?

No no no , definitely not.You have misunderstood me, I never wanted to invalidate your opinion.I will be performing a clean OS Install now. After I'm done I would be glad to continue troubleshooting the DSE issue I have, unless ofcourse it's fixed after I finish installing & setting up.

Do you have Win 10 version 1909 ISO available ? If so, mount it then use 7-zip to open the install.esd or install.wim under Sources folder, Navigate to Windows\systems32\Recovery and copy both WinRe.wim and ReAgent.xml to Destop first. Use reagentc to disable then copy both the Recovery partition, Re-enable with reagentc. Should put the new version to Recovery partition.

If fail, you might have to re-create the Recovery partition with size=529MB
After clean install, I notice the file is the same as yours (418 MB)

So apparently doing a clean install of the OS solved the problem...I can see and operate the numbered menu/options.
Thank you for answering my queries so fast.
Have a nice day or night.
