HELP.......Black screen but monitor is on

Hello all! It's my first post. A friend told me this is a great forum with great people who are very helpful. I appreciate you in advance!

Have a 3 monitor setup up but monitor 1 is black when I came into the office a month ago.

This has never happened in 5 years since I built this pc.

    All monitors are ASUS VN248H-P.
GPU card I have: AMD Radeon R7 250

The LED is white when I reboot the monitor but then goes amber which means it's ON.

I plugged the cables from monitor 2 and 3 into the port of monitor 1 and it displays fine so I don't think it's the port of monitor 1 nor the monitor itself. I plugged the cable of monitor 1 into port 2 and 3 but monitor 1 doesn't display. However, I started in safe mode and Monitor 1 is working but then Monitor 3 didn't display!

Since I rotated the cables into different monitors and they work, it can't be the cables nor the converters.

I'm using HDMI cables with this converter: CONVERTER STARTECH | MDP2HDS R

I replaced the cables to eliminate the possible bad converters. The monitor was on but still black. Then I plugged in a cable with one of the converters and had the 2 new cables in the other monitors and it worked! However, this lasted about 10 days and now it's black again.

I also updated the drivers from AMD's website and still, the monitor is black.

I'm wondering if it's the card? I bought it in 2014. I only use this for business NOT gaming.

    Please help!

    Buy a new CONVERTER STARTECH | MDP2HDS R, it's cheap enough.

    Thanks for your reply @Ztruker.

I actually replaced all the cables and was still having the issue. I am doubtful that it is the cable. I'm thinking it's the gpu.

I bought these cables which eliminated the adaptor all together.

The same GPU on Amazon is $199. Buy it, try it, if it doesn't make any difference, return it.
