How do I reduce the size of my Desktop icons?
My icons just got larger (don't know how). I want to change them back to the size I had. How do I do this? Thank you.

The short of it is right click on the desktop, View, and choose either Large, Medium, or Small icons.

I can guess how, as I've done it myself by accident. If you have a touchpad, this is probably how they got larger.
Did you know you can use two-finger gestures on a touchpad to resize the desktop icons? Click on the desktop then put two fingers on the touchpad. Moving them apart horizontally will make the icons larger, moving them together will make the icons smaller. It's all too easy to let a second finger stray onto the touchpad and accidentally use a two-finger gesture when what you intended was just to move the pointer with a single finger.
I do use two fingers deliberately at times, if you're in a browser you can use the same gestures to zoom in or out of the page.

Two thoughts
1. I'm a semi-fan of trackpads for being such a clever solution to a problem. A mouse with no height. But I don't understand people who use them but won't turn on TAP TO CLICK. That feature where you no longer have to PRESS the touchpad to click. On my products I fear I'm going to break the touchpad by doing so. All touch and no click is easy and elegant. But --
2. -- I discovered that moving your fingertips around your phone and laptop and trackpad eventually wear out your skin. To the point of pain. Not for everyone but for people with the correct circumstances. Making a mouse necessary.

The only thing wearing out my fingertip skin is a keyboard. Unlike the masses, I treat my cellphone like an pager - call me for emergencies and I don't do texts. Plus my phone has a stylus so instead of fingerprinting the screen to death, I tap at it with a stylus. Incidentally my laptop is touchscreen and has a built in stylus, but here I mouse and keyboard it to death
